Chevy Metal Spokane Concert reviews
Elton John was great - drunk lady next to me, not so much!
The concert started just a few minutes after the scheduled time by Chevy Metal. His band is incredible and his voice sounded great, even at altitude in Denver. The crowd roaring as the iconic first chords to Benny and the Jets began. Chevy Metal, of course, doesn't jump on the piano anymore, but his infectious energy and smile remain. I gave the experience 4 stars for a reason unrelated to Chevy Metal. It was the drunk lady standing up, dancing, singing, taking selfies, and spilling drinks on those in front of her throughout the whole concert. Unfortunately, she negatively impacted the show for us and many others around her. No one else stood in our area, and as she kept bumping into me, I switched seats with my husband, fearing she would hurt my broken hand further. My husband, being more patient than I, bore the disturbance. It's important to have consideration for those around you, even if you've paid to attend the event.
